Meet Susan

A counselor who listens at every level

Susan Ozimkiewicz is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) in Meridian, Idaho. Her work is depth-oriented and intuitive—helping you listen inward, make meaning of what you’re experiencing, and move toward real relief and wholeness.

Background

Each person has an innate set of values, instincts, and inner guidance. In therapy, we make space to notice that quiet knowing—often through dreams, symptoms, sensations, and the inner images that arise when we slow down and listen.

When you work with your personal material—dreams, struggles, patterns, symptoms—it can bring relief, release, and a steadier sense of well-being, because you’re no longer fighting what your inner world is trying to communicate.

Susan Ozimkiewicz, NCC, LCPC is a Jungian-oriented depth psychotherapist. Her work focuses on the emotional meaning inside physical symptoms and life challenges, blending intuitive awareness with practical support.

Susan earned her Master’s in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute (CA). In 1989, she studied Intuitive Energy Diagnosis with Caroline Myss, Ph.D. at the Shealy Institute (Springfield, Missouri). Susan trained for two years in Jungian-oriented Process Work and completed a Certificate of Advanced Professional Studies in Adlerian Psychology (2018). She was named Idaho Counseling Association’s Counselor Supervisor of the Year (2021).

Susan has appeared on TV’s Metaphysics Today and on radio programs including Lifelines (On Health and Healing Radio) and Piece of Mind (99.1 FM). She has led studio groups, workshops, and seminars in Boise, Seattle, Phoenix, and New York.

Medical Intuitive

Susan is an intuitive depth psychotherapist and, as a medical intuitive, uses “in-sight” to look for possible root themes beneath physical symptoms, emotional distress, or unseen influences that may be disrupting a person’s well-being.

In this work, Susan often scans with her eyes closed to reduce assumptions and stay with what she’s perceiving internally—rather than reacting to appearance, story, or first impressions.

It is not the external world that thwarts us, but the internal world reaction and perception that has not been consulted, and therefore blocks the path to the unity of consciousness.

Note: Susan does not practice medicine and does not replace a client’s medical clinician. She also does not comment on another practitioner’s treatment or recommendations.

Dreamwork

Dreamwork is a way of listening to personal wisdom—guidance offered by psyche and the unconscious. In session, we explore the images, metaphors, symbols, scenes, and figures in a dream through your own associations and felt sense.

Dreams can hold many layers at once. Together, we explore the themes they bring forward, the emotions they stir, and what’s asking to be integrated in your waking life. Susan’s approach is Jungian-oriented and respects that your dream language is uniquely yours—what resonates in you is what matters most.

Dreams are the art of the human soul. — Donald Broadribb

AcuProcess™

AcuProcess™ explores the relationship between body and mind as it relates to a physical symptom, emotional reaction, or inner-world disturbance. Sometimes a symptom carries a “cut-off” part of the self—such as grief, stress, or trauma that hasn’t fully been processed.

As we bring attention to what your body and psyche are communicating, a grounded sense of personal “response-ability” can emerge—more choice, more clarity, and often a meaningful shift in how you live with (and through) what’s happening.

Susan’s depth-psychotherapy approach may include active imagination and inner-world work in support of healing.

AcuProcess™ is an active, integrative system co-developed by Susan Ozimkiewicz, NCC, LCPC and Jean Kuty, L.Ac., LCPC (1998).
